PowerSeraya has established the QHSE Steering Committee and QHSE Working Committee with the primary objective to develop, implement and improve the EMS as well as other management systems (i.e. quality, health & safety). These stemmed from the QHSE Policy which is endorsed by the Managing Director of the company. The main tasks of the QHSE Steering Committee and QHSE Working Committee are to establish and review the QHSE policy and the environmental objectives. In addition, these committees ensure the availability of resources to administer the EMS and conduct management reviews on a regular basis as part of the continuous improvement cycle.

In general, each department/section head holds operational responsibility for the environmental management system for their respective areas and works closely with the QHSE Working Committee to address all environmental aspects arising from the business operations.
