We did not receive any financial assistance from the Government in FY06/07. However, in FY07/08 we received a total funding of S$34,000 from the National Environment Agency under the EASe (Energy Efficiency Improvement Assistance Scheme) to conduct an energy audit on Stage 1 – Unit 3 of the power plant to identify efficiency improvements to the water heaters and air leaking devices.

Our community investments increased from S$47,000 in FY06/07 to S$171,000 in FY07/08. This  270% increase is due mainly to the rise in the amount invested in environmental activities and events (for details, please refer to Section 8: ‘The Environment and the Community’).
